Harold Hedger

Harold Arthur Hedger was born on July 13, 1932 in Florissant, MO.  He was the son of Asa O. & Ethel B (Siebles) Hedger.  He died on August 1, 2011 at Hillcrest Care Center at the age of 79.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Johnson) Hedger of De Soto, MO; children, Randy (Mary) Hedger of Festus, MO; Dr. Rick (Sandee) Hedger of Jefferson City, MO; Rusty (Dawn) Hedger of Joplin, MO; Lin-An (Don) Seals of Farmington, MO; and Barbara (Randall) Allen of Oklahoma City, OK; 13 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.  

Mr. Hedger was a carpenter who worked for many commercial construction firms in the area. He also was a member of the De Soto Christian Church and Carpenters Local 2214.  He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korea War.  Dr. Rick and Rusty Hedger will officiate the service with burial with full military honors to follow at the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks, MO. As an expression of sympathy memorials may be made to the De Soto Christian Church Building Fund.
