John Donnelly

John H. Donnelly was born July 26, 1919 in St. Louis, Missouri (Irish Valley). He was the son of John William and Goldie Frances (nee Yeager) Donnelly. He died on April 16, 2012 in De Soto, MO at the age of 92 years. He is survived by his children, David (Steve) Donnelly, De Soto, MO; Tom (Rebecca) Donnelly, St. Peters, MO, and Judy (Ray) Kohler, Arnold, MO; one brother, Robert J. (Bernice) Donnelly, Chesterfield, MO; sister-in-law, Alvira “Mickie” Donnelly, St. Louis, MO; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth Arlene (nee Martin) Donnelly; siblings, Mildred (Fred) Goforth; Bill (Bobbie) Donnelly; and Norman Donnelly. John was a member of the First Baptist Church, Arnold, MO; he worked as a welder for AFT Railroad and served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
