Carolyn Blackwell

Carolyn Sue Blackwell was born on April 14, 1940 in Bonne Terre, MO.  She was the daughter of Cleveland “Pete” & Sue (nee Marshall) Stegall.  She died on April 6, 2012 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Crystal City, MO at the age of 71.  

She is survived by her husband, Val Joseph Blackwell of De Soto, MO; one son, Brian (Paula) Dixon of Bonne Terre, MO; two grandchildren, Heather (Aaron) Mosier & Blake Dixon; and a nephew Bill (Kathy) Stegall of Bonne Terre, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother & sister-in-law, Wayne (Joyce) Stegall.  

Mr. & Mrs. Blackwell were married on August 18, 1989 in Bonne Terre, MO.  She was a Certified Nurses Assistant in the health care field and a Floral Designer at the Flower Basket in Bonne Terre.  She was a member of the Park View Baptist Church.  

Memorials may be made in memory of her to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Association.
