William Edgar Salisbury

William Edgar Salisbury was born April 25, 1931 in De Soto, MO. He was the son of Edgar and Althea (nee Whaley) Salisbury. He died on January 22, 2025 in Festus, MO at the age of 93 years. He is survived by his wife, Vivian (nee Gunnett) Salisbury, Festus, MO; two daughters, Ann Marie (David) Couser, Phoenix, AZ and Elizabeth (Dennis) Popek, Fairview Heights, IL; and one son, Robert (Illana) Salisbury, Phoenix, AZ; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; step-children, Karleene (Gerald) Fortney-Pontius, Festus, MO and Joe (Susan) Jackson, Castle Rock, CO; five step-grandchildren; twelve step-great grandchildren and five step great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Mark Salisbury; granddaughter, Jamie Salisbury; brother, Glenn Salisbury; and son-in-law, Lawrence Fortney. Bill was a contract shop inspector for Union Pacific Railroad and a member of B.P.O.E. Lodge #689 and Masonic Lodge #119 A.F. & A.M.
