Mary M. Mitchell was born on July 16, 1930 in De Soto, MO.  She was the daughter of the late Sylvester & Stella (nee Johnson) Ladd.  She died on November 3, 2024 at Garden View Nursing Facility in Valley Park, MO at the age of 94.

Mary is survived by her children, Debra Mitchell of Manchester, MO and Donnie (the late Cheryl) Mitchell of De Soto, MO; granddaughter, Jessica (Jacob) Coleman; and great grandchildren, Emma & Barrett.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George “Red” Mitchell; her sisters, Dorothy (Spud) Brinkman, Sylvia (Tony) Datillo, and Margaret (Bud) Moore and her brothers, Floyd (Lucille) Ladd and Tom (Theresa) Ladd.

Mary retired from Kroger’s as a cashier and was a member of UFCW Local #655.  She was also a Redeemer Lutheran Church.
