Richard A. North

Richard Albert “Dick” North of Hillsboro died Oct. 15, 2023 at his home. He retired from Chrysler Corporation after working there for 37 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He lived his life’s dream of being a farmer for over 50 years on his Hillsboro farm. he studied Agriculture and Animal Husbandry at the University of Missouri at Columbia and spent his summers working on a farm near there.

He was born and grew up in Webster Groves, Missouri, the eldest son of Robert A. and Ruby V. North.

He is survived by his wife, Rosalind T. (Anania) North and daughter, Jeanne Therese North, a brother, Robert A. (Suzette) North, and two sisters, Gerry Kupfer of Webster Groves and Virginia Fischer of Sunset Hills, MO, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Bradley North, and a brother, John E. “Jack” North.
