Lola Joyce Young was born in De Soto on May 21, 1933 a daughter to Roy E. and Elsie Belle (nee Meyers) McMullin.  She died in Crystal City on January 24, 2020 at the age of 86.  She is survived by her children: Jerry (Shirley) Young, De Soto, Cindy Young, Crystal City, Sharon (Mark) Meyer, Crystal City, Mark Young, Pevely, and Richard Young, De Soto; her grandchildren: Nicole (Jim) Turnbull, Shannon (Becky) Young, Jarrod Young, Megan Young, Kati Akins, and Preston (Wendy) Young; great-grandchildren: Storm, Austin, Madison, Grace, Paige, and Karter and great-great-grandchildren: Riley, Abigail, and Kassandra. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Eugene Young; and four brothers: Eldon, Ralph, Ronald, and Charlie McMullin
