Helen M. Schmidt Politte

Helen Marie Schmidt was born in Ste. Genevieve on April 14, 1928 a daughter to Lawrence and Mary Ann (nee Bonnarens) Schmidt.  She died at Mercy Hosptial St. Louis on May 31, 2019 at the age of 91.  She is survived by three sons:  Gary Politte, De Soto, Glen (Debra) Politte, Hillsboro, and Greg (Deanna) Politte, Chesterfield; her grandchildren Craig, Josh (Rachel), Dustin, Ashley, Chase, Carson, Cole, and Peyton; two sisters: Marcella (Tom) Vaughn, Festus and Anna Marie (the late Carroll) Drury, Bloomsdale; and a brother: Larry (Kathleen) Schmidt, Ste. Genevieve.  She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Marion Politte; and two sisters: Edna (Don) Stolzer and Christine (Chalmer) Meyer.  Helen had taught at Valle Catholic School in Ste. Genevieve and was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella Circle #659 and the Columbia Anns.
