Mary Esther McKay was born March 12, 1930 in Baryties, MO. She was the daughter of John W. and Mary Minty (nee Missey) Missey. She passed on May 16, 2019 at Hillcrest Care Center, De Soto, MO at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her children, Robert “Bob” (Pat) Whaley, De Soto, MO; Daniel (Sheila) Whaley, De Soto, MO; Richard (Dorothy) Whaley, De Soto, MO; Susan (Duane) Whaley Ferguson; De Soto, MO; stepchildren, Ellen McKay Boyer, De Soto, MO; and Allen (Carla) McKay, Festus, MO; grandchildren, Lisa (Scott); Jeff (Stephanie); Rich (Shawn); Michelle; Jennifer (Brad); Cindy; Tyler (Cassie); Thomas II; and Amanda; eleven great-grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren; and numerous step great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Bernard Whaley; second husband, Sam M. McKay; daughter, Nancy Wilkerson; and son, Larry Whaley. Mary worked at Emerson Electric and she enjoyed playing bingo. | |
