Melany R. Dollar

Melany Renea Dollar was born March 28, 1999 in St. Louis, MO. She was the daughter of Michael Joseph and Kelly Renea (nee Swyers) Dollar of De Soto, MO. She passed on March 14, 2019 at her residence in De Soto, MO at the age of 19 years. She is survived by her parents; children,  Aiden Matthew Strachan, and Camden Michael Strachan of De Soto, MO, and their father Garrett Strachen, Desloge, MO; siblings, Makayla (Brandon Stewart) Clinton, Farmington, MO; Tyler Young, De Soto, MO; Makenzie Dollar, De Soto, MO; grandparents; Penny Ipock, De Soto, MO; Lisa (David Terry) Newkirk, Valles Mines, MO; great-grandparents; Rich & Bessie Trojan, De Soto, MO; Ken & Liz Watts, Hillsboro, MO; and Winona Newkirk, Springfield, MO; uncles, Ronald (Crystal Emily) Thost, De Soto, MO; Adam Thost, De Soto, MO; Jeffrey (Amanda) Neal, MI; and Kristopher (Teressa Triplett) Ipock, Pevely, MO. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers Lloyd Ipock and Larry Newkirk; and great-grandfather, Paul Newkirk. Melany was a CNA at Hillcrest Nursing Center.
