Chief Master Sergeant Ronald Brent Cole passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 surrounded by his wife of 27 years, Colleen and their children, Blake and Courtney. Brent was born on July 13, 1965 a son to Ronald and Sharon (nee Politte) Cole. He received his bachelor’s degree from Washington University in 1991, Brent and Colleen were married on June 6, 1992 in St. Louis. Brent served full time with the Air National Guard for 32 years. He loved his career, his fellow soldiers and our country. Brent devoted his spare time to his family and serving others. Brent volunteered at church as Eucharistic minister, PSR teacher, fish fry volunteer and a member of the Education Commission. In addition, Brent was a Scout leader, coached his children’s sports, and volunteered at Sherwood Elementary School. He also trained the family dog, Daisy through Champ as a service animal to provide comfort to service members at the V.A. Hospital. Brent was in the process of fulfilling his lifelong dream of getting his pilot’s license when he became ill. Brent is preceded in death by his grandparents: Numan Cole, James and Dorothy Politte and father-in-law, John C. Farrell, Jr. He is survived by his wife Colleen and their two children; Blake and Courtney. His parents Ronald and Sharon Cole, grandmother, Velva Cole, one brother William (Nancy) Cole, mother-in-law Marsha Farrell, brothers-in-law Chris (Tracy) Farrell, Dan (Kathy) Farrell and a sister-in-law Sally (Jim) Robinson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the USO, P.O.
