Ida M. Merz Karl was born on December 27, 1926 in St. Louis, MO. She is the daughter of Otto and Minnie (nee Vosbrink) Kelting. She passed on April 30, 2018 at Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto, MO at the age of 91 years. She is survived by her daughter, Marla (Dennis) Johnson, De Soto, MO; grandchildren, Rhonda Linton; Mike (Shauna) Linton; Kimberly (Russell) Walthers; Scott Arnold; Erin (Dan) Naused; Misty (Jon) Ketchum; eighteen great-grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Edward Merz and Norman Karl; one daughter, Linda Karl; one sister, Louise Merz; two brothers, Oliver Metts and Sidney Metts. Ida worked for Bussman Fuse and was a member of Rose of Sharon Church, De Soto, MO. | |
