Uthel Lewis Boyer

Uthel Mae Lewis Boyer was born in Richwoods on February 17, 1918 a daughter to James “Jim” and Ellen (nee Gamble) Lewis. She died at Scenic Nursing and Rehabilitation in Herculaneum on January 20, 2018 at the age of 99. She is survived by one daughter Carol Braun, Arnold; five grandchildren: Ron, Darren, Rodney, Darla, and Angela; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a special niece Helen Allen. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Edward Boyer; her daughter Shirley M. Boyer; a grandson Murrell James Boyer; one sister Leona “Lee” Flynn; three brothers: Albert, Leo, and Clifford Lewis and sons-in-law Murrell J. Boyer and Art Braun. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Oakland Baptist Cemetery. Rev. Dr. Jeremy Muniz will officiate the funeral service.
