Carolyn Sauer

Carolyn Jean Sauer was born December 8, 1947 in Quincy, IL. She was the daughter of Herman S. Sr. and Wilma (nee Austin) Davis. She passed on June 11, 2017 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO at the age of 69. She is survived by her children, Stacy Dahle of De Soto and her sons Jacob and Joshua; Michael Dahle, Clarksville, TN and his children, Crystal, Colby, and Kyle; Samuel Dahle, Hannibal, MO, Melody Speck, Oakville, MO, Tammy Dennis, Robertsville, MO; Gerald Sauer, Imperial, MO; Greg Sauer, Festus, MO; Trish Burkeen, De Soto, MO; and Traysa Sauer, De Soto, MO; sisters, Marilyn Hannah, Truro, IA and Brenda Folkert, De Soto, MO; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene Sauer; two daughters, Rhondalisa Gier and Jody Stahlmann; one son, Geno Sauer, II; and one brother, Herman S. Davis, Jr. Carolyn was the former administrator of Cedar Grove Nursing Home and Colonial House.. She was a member of De Soto Community Church of God.
