Francis Lucas

Francis “Frank” Jean Lucas was born December 23, 1927 in Washington County, MO. He was the son of George Washington and Gertrude (nee Miller) Lucas. He passed on June 11, 2017 in De Soto, MO at the age of 89 years. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (nee Hobson) Lucas, De Soto, MO; children, Debi (Ken) Kloosterman, Trufant, MI; Theresa (Ron) McKenzie, Nokomis, FL; Bill (Brenda) Lucas, Fenton, MO; Janet (Bob) Vilmer, De Soto, MO; Linda (Glen) Coleman, De Soto, MO; siblings, Charlene Huskey, Bonne Terre, MO; Hilda Sebastian, De Soto, MO; Sylvia Huskey, Arnold, MO; Christine Lucas, St. Charles, MO;nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Grover Lucas, Pete Lucas, Marge Wilburn, Vivian Dickinson, and Ernie Lucas. Frank was a member of First Assembly of God Church, De Soto, MO; National Rifle Association; and the Men’s Ministry at Church. He was a musician and enjoyed gardening. As an expression of sympathy memorials to the First Assembly of God Church or the Gideon Bible.
