William Boyd Wood, Sr. was born on September 10, 1952 in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of Herman & Helen (Nee Babcock) Wood. He died on August 22, 2010 at St. Joe Manor at the age of 57.
William is survived by four children, William “Billy” Wood, Jr.; Wendy Wood; Ashley Wood; and Candice Wood all of Hillsboro, MO; siblings, Grace (Don) Schmucker of O’Fallon; Mary Franger of Bonne Terre, MO; Marie “Tootsie” Wood of Bonne Terre, MO; John (Judy) Wood of Wentzville; Barney Michael (Donna) Wood of St. Louis, MO; Judy (Gary) Reinwald of Idianapolis, IN; Carol Sue (Bob) Gearhart of Hillsboro, MO; brother-in-law, Charles Evans of Troy, MO; and two granchildren, Austin and Zach Wood.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Helen Hoyt adn Shirley Evans; and one brother, Herman “Buddy” Wood, Jr.
William managed the Mr. Fuel Truck Stop in Pevely, MO.
