Wilferd “Will” L. Lindsey was born on September 29, 1929 in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of Leo & Faye (nee Duval) Lindsey. He died on July 18, 2019 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City, MO at the age of 89.
Will is survived by his children, Paula Lindsey and husband Geoffrey of Manchester, NH; Sherry Lindsey of St. Charles, MO; and Dave Lindsey of De Soto, MO; his wife, Julia “Janie” (nee Courtois) Harshaw Lindsey of Ironton, MO; her children, Richard “Dick” Harshaw of Phoenix, AZ and Barbara Harshaw Coleman of O’Fallon, MO; 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren, and his brother William Dean Lindsey and his wife Sharon of Mesa, AZ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pauline V. (nee Pait) Lindsey; infant brother, Lowell Dwight Lindsey, and his very close friend/brother, Calvin Pilcher.
Will served in the United States Navy, was retired maintenance supervisor from Union Electric and 32nd Degree Mason of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry.
