Virginia Ruth Shifflett was born September 8, 1940 in Herculaneum, Missouri. She was the daughter of William Henry and Virginia Alice (Manning) Drinen.

She is survived by her husband, Roy M. Shifflett, Ware, MO; daughter, Boudett (Bruce) Scheller, Troy, IL and Dan (Melissa Neal) Shifflett, Lexington, IN; siblings, Lawrence Drinen, Oklahoma City, OK, Charles (Tiny) Drinen, South County, MO, Wilma (Lee) Head, Perryville, MO, Alice Buren, St. Louis, MO, Betty (Alvin) Keefe, Hillsboro, MO; Grandchildren, Trevor Fielder, Kristi Boyd, Darcy Gail Shifflett, Maggie Virginia Shifflett, Lucas Shifflett, and Richie Shifflett; great-granddaughter, Emma Boyd.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Walter David Drinen and sister, Shirley Lancaster.
