Violet Rose Flowers was born on August 29, 1935 in St. Louis, MO. She was the daughter of the late Walter & Essie (nee Stahl) Accord. She died on November 11, 2023 at her home in Pevely at the age of 88.
Rose is survived by her daughters, Debra (Mike) Cornelius of St. Peters and Carol (Mark) Grobe of Pevely; grandchildren: Renee Flowers, Kyle Flowers, Michael (Maria) Cornelius, Joe Cornelius, Kristy (Jason Kraus) Handy-Kraus, Carl Keeven II and Danielle (Michael) Navratil; and great grandchildren: Olivia, Mia, Lorenzo, Doug (Margaret), Carl “C.J.” III (Michaela), Donovan (Melanie) and Michael “M.J.” and one great great grandson: Zander.
Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Flowers; one son, Thomas Flowers whose long time companion Vicki Rolfes survives; one grandson, Tommy Flowers and two sisters, Eileen Flowers and Betty Jo Accord and three brothers, Bill Accord, Earl Accord and Ed Accord.
Rose was retired as an executive secretary for the Kroger Company.
