Violet Louise Goad-O’Harver was born September 11, 1930 in Silva, MO. She was the daughter of Lyman and Maggie (nee Meadors) Leach. She passed on January 6, 2021 in Hillsboro, MO at the age of 90 years. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence O’Harver, Sr., Hillsboro, MO; children, Dennis (Jin) Goad, Oologah, OK and Marsha (Randy) Kostelac, Belleville, IL; step-sons, Larry O’Harver, De Soto, MO and Scott (Jennifer) O’Harver, Festus, MO; siblings, Mary (Bob) Westmorland, Bonne Terre, MO; Jane (Charles) Fox, Patterson, MO; Kenny (Ruth Ann) Leach, Pattersons, MO; sister-in-law, Carol Leach, Owasso,OK; grandchildren, Amanda (William) Blalock, Owasso, OK; Justin Kostelac, Red Bud, IL; Joshua Kostelac, Belleville, IL; and Turner Goad, Oologah, OK; step-grandchildren, Wyatt, Whitney, Wally, Jacquelyn, and Jessica; and many nieces and nephews. Violet is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Orla Goad; one brother, Lloyd Leach; a sister-in-law, Doris Goad; two brothers-in-law, Fay and Gail Goad; and one niece, Rhonda Irons. She worked as secretary for the First Baptist Church-Hillsboro and for the Jefferson County Collector’s Office. Violet was also a member of the First Baptist Church-De Soto.
