Veronica A. Record was born on March 13, 1930 in De Soto, MO. She was the daughter of George & Minithia (nee Torrence) Ponzar, Sr. She died on March 4, 2021 at her residence in De Soto, MO at the age of 90 years, 11 months and 19 days.
Veronica is survived by her daughter, Debora Politte of Florissant, MO; 6 grandchildren, Stephanie (Jeff) Whaley, Brad (Sarah) Missey, Brian (Amanda) Missey, Jennifer (Matt) Eddy, Amy (Dave Rogers) Politte, and Desiree (Frank) Koch; 21 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Marcella (Tiny) Wickerham of De Soto.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence Record; daughter, Beverly Record; and siblings, George Ponzar, Sr., Clarence Ponzar, Mary Smith, Francis Ponzar, Isabel Litton, and Eugene Ponzar.
As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
