Sandra L. “Sandy” Stewart was born in De Soto on March 9, 1946 a daughter to Stanley “Dink” and Audrey (nee Hensley) Dugan. She died at her De Soto home on July 12, 2021 at the age of 75. She is survived by her husband of 52 years Ronald J. Stewart; four children: Rebecca (Dan) Hoffee, De Soto, Rhonda (Anthony) Lawson, De Soto, Donald (Shawna) Stewart, Fenton and Bryan (Andrew) Stewart, St. Louis; three grandchildren: Andersen (Lee) Rufkahr, Natalie Hoffee, and Samuel Lawson and her sister Fran Hayes, De Soto. She is preceded in death by her parents. Sandy had retired as the office secretary for Vineland Elementary School and was a member of First Baptist Church-De Soto. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to “Dragon Seat Drive”, which was designed to fund the completion of the seating in the new De Soto School Auditorium, c/o the De Soto School District, 610 Vineland School Road, De Soto, MO 63020.
