Roy Franklin Bradford was born in Anderson, TN a son to George Allen and Elsie Jane (nee Sherman) Bradford.  He died at Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto on January 21, 2020 at the age of 78.  He is survived by his children: Paul (Kimberly) Bradford of De Soto and Deborah (Randall) Shields of Wentzville; seven grandchildren: Michael Bradford, Adam Bradford, Mackenzie Kemp, Phelicity Holt, Roy Bradford, Nathan Shields, and Garrett Shields; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters: Beulah Schneider, Overland and Dorothy Berry, De Soto; and two brothers: John Bradford, Houston, TX and Charlie Bradford, Polk City, FL.  He is preceded in death by his wife Clara Louise (nee Smith) Bradford and four brothers: Ted Bradford, James Bradford, Robert Bradford, and Lonnie Bradford. While living in Overland Roy was the owner of Bradford Heating and Cooling.  After his retirement he moved to Festus.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.
