Robert Thomas Johnson was born August 29, 1927 in Farmington one of the six children of Thomas L. and Myrtle (nee Peel) Johnson. He died in Farmington on November 21, 2014 at the age of 87. He is survived by his wife: Fern (nee File) Cooley Johnson; three daughters: Linda (Gary) Morgan, Clayton, Brenda (Daniel) Sieveking, Atlanta, Rene Wiley, De Soto; two sons: Rev. Randy (Janice) Johnson, Republic and Rev. Roger (Brenda) Johnson, Union; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife: Glenda (nee Mayfield) Johnson; one granddaughter: Cindy Burnes; two great-grandsons: Christopher Souders and Cody Gibbs; and a son-in-law: Francis Wiley. He was a World War II Army Veteran, retired machinist supervisor for McDonnell-Douglas, and a member of First Baptist Church-Farmington. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
