Robert Francis Christopher was born in St. Louis on May 20, 1953 a son to Sidney “Sid” and Agnes Nadine (nee Harston) Christopher.  He died at his De Soto home on March 14, 2024 at the age of 70.  He is survived by his wife Cindy (nee Whaley) Christopher, their children: Dr. Julie (Dr. David, D.V.M) White, D.V.M., Purcell OK,  James Christopher, Oakland, CA and Mike (Kayla) Christopher, Crystal City, MO:  two grandsons: Brooks White and Ben Christopher; his sister Rebecca “Becky” (Wayne) Bliss, De Soto, MO; three brothers: Rev. Fr. Patrick Christopher, St. Louis, MO, Tim (Colleen) Christopher, O’Fallon, MO and Tom (Connie) Christopher, De Soto, MO and many nieces and nephews.   He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Ronald Christopher.  Bob had retired as a millwright from the Chrysler Automobile Manufacturing Plant in Fenton, MO and belonged to the U.A.W.  He was a member St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and B.P.O.E. #689 and was a willing volunteer for both.  He enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing, camping and kayaking and working around his home.  He especially enjoyed time spent with his family and friends.  As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Adopt-An-Angel, c/o St. Rose of Lima Catholic School, 504 S. 3rd St., De Soto, MO  63020 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.
