Richard Allen Parrott was born November 24, 1939 in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of Alger George and Ida Sue (nee Miller) Parrott. He passed on January 18, 2018 at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis, MO at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his children, Elizabeth (Jerry) Adams, St. Louis, MO; and Virgil Allen (Liz) Parrott; siblings, Alger Nelson (Bonnie) Parrott, AZ; Virginia (Bill) Rulo, Pevely; and Vicky (David) Hall, TN; grandchildren, Avery Michael Adams; Mathew Allen (Ashley Clark) Parrott; and James Paul (Jannifer) Best; seven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Ellen (nee Ries) Parrott; and one brother, Dale Edward Parrott. Richard was an alumni of Hannibal-LaGrange University. He served in the U.S. Air Force and helped work on the F-4 Phantom.
