Rebecca Geraldine Kelly was born January 27, 1936 in St. Louis, MO. She was the daughter of Leonard and Louise (nee Swaggerty) Miniex. She died on March 10, 2014 at Baisch Nursing Center in De Soto, MO at the age of 78 years. She is survived by her children Theresa Rene’ (Don Richmond) Kelly, Farmington, MO; Gregory Paul (Joyce) Kelly, Florissant, MO; Kevin Patrick (Leigh) Kelly, Houston, MO; Traci Colleen (Larry) Luebbers, Valles Mines, MO; Laurie Ann (Charles) West, Ft. Know, KY; Christopher George (Donna) Kelly, Imperial, MO; and Matthew John (Mandy) Kelly, Festus, MO; grandmother of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, George E. Kelly Jr.; siblings, Eugene Miniex; Leonard “Ed” Miniex; and Mary Elking. Rebecca was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terre, MO; she was a cook at Concordia Seminary; housekeeper at Jefferson Memorial Hospital and Baisch Nursing Center; and a volunteer at Bonne Terre Senior Center.
