Olive Ann Taylor was born on April 23, 1932 in De Soto, Missouri. She was the daughter of Theodore and Blanche (nee Tucker) Bradford. She died on April 15, 2023 at her home in Herculaneum.
She is survived by her husband, James “Bud” Taylor of Herculaneum; son, Lanny Ray Dyle of Greenville, MO; daughters, Georgina “Cissy” (William) Scanlon of De Soto, MO; and Lisa (Alan) Rickman of Cape Girardeau, MO; brother, Theodore “Buck” (Judy) Bradford of Festus; half-brother, Teddy (Mary Joe) Bradford of Festus; half-sister, Cathy Bradford of Festus; grandchildren, David (Carrie) Bowling, Lindsay (Kevin) Donnelly, Jeff Scanlon, Steven (Hannah) Scanlon; great grandchildren, Ayden, Dane, Grace, Samuel, and Noah.
Olive was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Pete Bradford and Ed (Thelma) Bradford; and a great grandson, Caleb Scanlon.
Olive was a homemaker who also worked at Opal’s Cafe and Crystal City Doughnut Shop. She enjoyed going to flea markets, gardening, baking, and was a very good seamstress. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of her great grandson, Caleb.
