Mary Lou Jenkerson was born in De Soto on September 21, 1946 a daughter to Esther Laurene “Rene'” (nee MaBay) and Robert Lee “Hawkeye” Lovely, Sr. She died at her Festus home on December 30, 2023 at the age of 77. She is survived by her husband David Jenkerson, Festus, one sister Margaret “Margie” (Barry) Miller, Wildwood and two brothers William Robert Lovely, St. Louis and Robert Lee “Bobby” Lovely, Jr., St. Louis. She is preceded in death by her parents. Mary Lou had worked as a keypunch operator for Pittsburgh Plate Glass and as an administrative assistant for Jefferson College and in their cooperative program with Missouri Baptist College. She enjoyed crafting and attending craft shows. She also enjoyed collecting Steiff Bears and collectable dolls.
