Martin Max “Marty” Marshall was born in Senath on August 28, 1936 a son to Lucian and Winnie (nee Hatch) Marshall. He died on May 18, 2021 at his Olympian Village home at the age of 84. He is survived by his wife Bertha (nee Horn) Marshall. Marty and Bertha were married on October 7, 1956 in Kennett. Also surviving are two daughters: Rhonda (Ralph) Pelliccio, Jefferson City, Patty Dews, De Soto; two sons: Marty Charles Marshall, Chesterfield and Kenny Lee Marshall, De Soto; three grandchildren: Jon Paul (Rachel) Wells, Jessica (Corey) Powell and Jacob (Amber) Reando; nine great grandchildren: Brody, Parker, Colton, Lane, Griff, Addy, Leah, Sam and Logan and a brother Quinton (Joyce) Marshall, Foristell. He is preceded i n death by his parents; a son in law David Dews; one grandson Michael Marshall; a sister Charlene Bahle and a brother Wayne (Doris survives) Marshall. Marty has worked as a mechanic for Yates-Stevens Ford in St. Louis and had retired from Talbert Ford in De Soto. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.
