Marie Capitola Rhodes was born August 17, 1999 in St. Louis County, MO. She was the daughter of Randall Ray and Amalia “Amy” (nee Beffa) Rhodes of De Soto, MO. She passed on June 7, 2017 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO at the age of 17 (6,504 days). She is survived by her parents; two brothers, Mitchell Rhodes, Hillsboro, MO; HN Raymond Rhodes, USN; grandparents, Merry (Don) Broccard, Hillsboro, MO; Virginia Beffa, Festus, MO; Leanora Clark, De Soto, MO; and Vernon (Rebecca) Rhodes, Doniphan, MO; great grandmother, Thelma Beffa, Festus, MO. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Joseph Beffa, Sr. Marie was a student at De Soto High School. As an expression of sympathy memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Make a Wish Foundation; or the Variety Club.
