Margaret Fitzgerald was born in Sedalia on October 16, 1930 a daughter to Harry E. and Mary (nee Boyle) Weber. She died on October 29, 2024 at the Arbors of Capetown in Cape Girardeau at the age of 94. She is survived by her two children John (Jane) Fitzgerald, Cape Girardeau and Jane Fitzgerald, Spring Hill KS; two grandchildren: Tyler (Cory) Fitzgerald and Lori (Jonathon) Bequette; two great grandchildren Isaiah and Alex, a sister in law Merlin Weber, De Soto; nieces and nephews: Jan (Dave) Rigdon, Kathy (David) Bertrand; Bill (Mary Jean) Weber, Mary Margaret Rogers, Charles (Linda) Weber, Jim (Lori) Weber, Douglas Weber, David (Alberta) Weber and Susan (Scott) Baum and their families. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Donald Fitzgerald; her sister Mary Alice Weber; her brothers: James (Dorothy) Weber, William “Bill” Weber and Charles (Lois) Weber and a nephew Kirk Weber. Margaret had retired as an elementary school teacher having taught for a short time at De Soto and then at Hillsboro. She was a member of Hillsboro United Methodist Church. Margie enjoyed quilting, sewing, cooking and gardening.
