Lindell Paul Harper was born August 25, 1947 in De Soto, MO. He was the son of Otis Willis and Lorene Pearl (nee Wilkson) Harper. He died on June 26, 2024 at Mercy Hospital South, St. Louis, MO at the age of 76 years. He is survived by his wife, Janice Evelyn (nee Nickelson) Harper, Bonne Terre, MO; one daughter, Jill (Steve) Holloway, Festus, MO; two sons, Jason (Michelle) Harper, Bonne Terre, MO and Jarad (Kelly)Harper, Conway, AR; one brother, Robert Harper, Greers Ferry, AR; one sister, Donna (Bill) Nickelson, Festus, MO;  eleven grandchildren; and  eight great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Mick Harper, Greers Ferry, AR and Ruth Harper, St. Louis, MO; and a brother -in-law, Dale Shelly, De Soto, MO. He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Shelby Shelly and Dixie Lee Harper; two brothers, Bill Harper and Richard Harper.  Lindell worked at Big River Zinc as a Superintendent in the Leaching & Purification Dept.; he was also a member of the Potosi Lion’s Club and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
