Linda Christine Washburn was born in Fukuoka, Japan on December 8, 1963 a daughter to Albert and Nancy (nee Catlow) Schwab.  She died on July 28, 2024 in Cape Coral, FL at the age of 60.  Linda smiled always, even during her sickness. She never met a person she didn’t care for and would do anything for anyone with open arms.  She was so proud of her new De Soto home. She loved crafting, painting and sewing.  Linda loved being outdoors fishing, bow hunting and gardening.  Her favorite time were spent with her family traveling, especially to Florida with her sisters and spending time on the river. When it came to her family the bigger and louder the better.  She also loved her dogs,  music by the Beatles, and volunteering with the Clean Stream Team.  She is survived by her husband John Washburn, De Soto; her children: Sarah Ann (Wayne) Cole, Sunset Hills, Christine (Johnny) Jochum, Fenton, Johnathon (Rachel) Washburn, De Soto, Jacob (Brittany) Washburn, De Soto, Jeremiah Washburn, De Soto and  Sean Gray, Hillsboro; her grandchildren Seth, Jordan, Sapphire, Violet, Lila, Benjamin, Castiel, Lane, Kaylee and one on the way; her sisters: Debby (Jim Needy) Schwab, Lake St. Louis, Cindy (Eric) Rankin, Chuluota FL, Brenda (Kevin) Wooten, Farmington and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her step father Lee Greenwalt and her daughter Jessica Renee Kimble.  Linda worked as a claims analyst for Centene Corporation.  As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4207 Lindell Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63108.
