Linda Lee Johnston of Bonne Terre was born in Crystal City on April 25, 1961 a daughter to LeRoy and Jo Ann (nee Portell) Johnston.  She died at Barnes Hospital on April 25, 2017 at the age of 56.  She is survived by her parents who live in Terre Du Lac; her son: Michael (Rachel Lebo) Johnston, St. Louis; one sister: Wendy Herbert, Terre Du Lac; one brother: Geoffery (Kathy) Johnston, De Soto; and her cat Stella.  She is preceded in death by one son: Christopher Johnston and her dear companion: Tom Walz.  Formerly of De Soto she enjoyed reading, 1970’s Pop music, and was a gifted artist.
