Linda Kay Johnston, 71, of De Soto passed away at Mercy Hospital South on June 29, 2024. She was born on March 25, 1953 in Robertsville a daughter to John and Thelma (nee King) Pitzer. She is preceded in death by her parents; her longtime companion John Davis; a son Douglas Lynn Webber; a brother Kenny Pitzer; a nephew Larry Pitzer, Jr. and a sister in law Jackie Pitzer. She is survived by two granddaughters: Brittany Webber and Monica Glass; four great grandchildren, two of which, CJ and Aubrey Hunt, Linda helped raise; two sisters Phyllis (Gene) Messex, Festus and Joan (Jim) Sampson, De Soto; one brother Larry (Dante) Pitzer, Sr., Ste. Genevieve; nine nieces and nephews: Rhonda Kelso, John Messex, Amy Westfall, Pam King, Laura Winstead, Brian “Fred” Pitzer, Amanda Reeder, Nicole Lalumondiere and Andria Reyes and several great nieces and nephews. Her helpful heart and playful spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
