Kenneth Brant Merseal was born in De Soto on September 16, 1938 a son to Victor James and Mary C. (nee Baker) Merseal. He died at his De Soto home on October 19, 2023 at the age of 85. He is survived by his wife Sandra “Sandy” (nee Craig) Merseal. Sandy and Ken celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on June 6th of 2023. He is also survived by three children Kenneth “Bengy” (Danita) Merseal, De Soto, Kelly (Shane) Coffman, De Soto, and Dave (Janice) Merseal, De Soto six grandchildren: Christopher Brant Merseal, Tiffany (John) Knight, Samantha Merseal, Danielle (Isaac) Jones, Christina (Richard) Tucker and Andrea (T.J.) Tidwell; 12 great grandchildren; one brother Robert Merseal and two step sisters Loma and Betty. He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters: Wanda Bailey and Glenda Rhives; a half brother Milford Merseal and a step brother Leonard Pullen. Ken served in the United States Army and retired as a Union Truck Drive for Fred Weber. He was a member of Teamsters Local #682, V.F.W. Post #1831 and B.O.P.E. #689.
