She is survived by her children, Karen (Daniel) Wood, De Soto, MO; Diane (Richard) Gonzales, Hillsboro, MO; Michael (Sandie) Schlett, Biloxi, MS; Mary Ann (David) Blum, De Soto, MO; Jeannie (Don) Goff, De Soto, MO; William (Crezilda) Schlett, Radcliff, KY; Sara (Heath) Allison, Festus, MO; Jeff Schlett, Texas; Glenda Schlett, Festus, MO; Juanita (tom) Kindred, Beaver Falls, PA; Bradley Schlett, Hillsboro, MO; Sasha Schlett, Hillsboro, MO; Shirley Schlett, Hillsboro, MO; Andrea (Richard) Rice, House Springs, MO; Leona Robnett, St. Charles, MO; two sisters, Ann (Aaron) Forrester, Las Cruces, NM and Mary Bonifacio, Festus, MO; 38 Grandchildren; 30 Great-Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alfred J. Schlett; one daughter, Joyce Schlett; brothers, John Long, James Long, and Col. Patrick Long. Kathy was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, Daughters of Isabella Circle #659; and she raised and assisted 49 foster children.
