Judy Dering was born in Ashland, MO on March 31, 1945 one of the thirteen children of Luther and Eula (nee Thomas) Crump. She died at her Festus home on August 21, 2016 at the age of 71. She is survived by her husband Lawrence Lee “Larry” Dering, II of Festus; one daughter: Marsha Harris, Irmo S.C. and her daughters Valerie, Vanessa, and Mendy; two step-sons Brian (Dini) Dering, De Soto and Lawrence Lee Dering, III, Dexter, MO and their children: Dylon, Keven, Charles, Mitchell, and Jasmine; two sisters: Minnie Calvert, Columbia, MO and Bonnie McDaniel, Columbia, MO; and two brothers: Junior Crump, Ashland, MO and Wayne Crump, Ashland, MO. She is preceded in death by her parents; five sisters: Rosemand, Amanda, Juanita, Patricia, and Alice; and three brothers: Buford, Ned, and John. Judy retired from the Chrysler Automobile Manufacturing Plant in Fenton and was a member of U.A.W. Local #110. Rev. Ryan Johnson will officiate the funeral service.
