Joyce Donahue was born November 26, 1930 in East St. Louis, MO. She was the daughter of Dr. Alvie M. and Alta (nee Cape) Hoffee. She died on December 25, 2021 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO at the age of 91 years. She is survived by her son, Casey (Helen) Donahue, Sr., De Soto, MO; one brother, Andy (Betty) Hoffee, Terre Du Lac; grandchildren, Sarah (Thomas) Rozycki; Casey “Bud” Donahue, Jr.; Loring Donahue; and Megan (Nicholas) Dunnegan; great-grandchildren, Maximus, Clayton, and Winston. Joyce taught elementary school for 38 years in De Soto; she also helped along with family operate the Dry Creek Orchard, De Soto, MO.
