- Service: Wed, February 12, 2020 at Noon from the Dietrich-Mothershead Chapel.
- Interment: National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks.
John Thomas Stuber was born in East St. Louis, IL on April 27, 1945 a son to Emil and Bertha (nee Stein) Stuber. He died at Mercy Hospital Jefferson on February 8, 2020 at the age of 74. He is survived by his wife Kristy L. (nee Jones) Stuber, De Soto: two sons: Scott (Becky) Stuber, Arnold and Kristian (Elizabeth) Ball, Wilmington, DE; four grandchildren: Ethan, Micah,Toby, and Eliana; and his sister Bonnie Fernandez who lives in Arnold. John is preceded in death by his parents; one son Brady Stuber and one brother Jack Stuber. John served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He then worked as a delivery truck driver for the Veteran;s Administration and then retired as a dock worker for Yellow Freight. He was a member of Teamster’s Local #600 and Grace Lutheran Church in De Soto. He enjoyed working with his hands and was a wicked card player.
