John R. Manning, Jr. was born on April 24, 1970 in Crystal City, MO. He was the son of Lillian I. (nee Smith) & John L. Manning, Sr. He died on August 25, 2024 at Mercy Hospital St. Louis at the age of 54.
John is survived by his mother, Lillian I. (nee Smith) Manning of De Soto, MO; his children, Cassie (Brandon) McNamee, Wentzville, MO; Molly Stehr, St. Louis, MO; Alexis Manning, De Soto, MO; Ava Manning, De Soto, MO; Zoey Manning, Hillsboro, MO; Abbie Killian, De Soto, MO (also survived by Zoey and Abbie’s mother, Crystal Killian); his siblings, Deborah (John) Davis, De Soto, MO; Penny Lee Meyer, Middleburg, FL; Shelly (Paul) Reynolds, De Soto, MO; Dawn Manning, De Soto, MO; and Shannon Manning, De Soto, MO; his grandchildren, Aspen McNamee, Annabelle McNamee, Kash Simonds & Eleanor Potter.
John was a concrete laborer for Warrior Construction and enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles.
He was preceded in death by his father, John L. Manning, Sr. & one sister, Bobbie Jo Heinz.
