John D. Davis was born on July 24, 1951 in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of Harold L. and Carmen A. (nee James) Davis. He died on September 12, 2024 at his home in De Soto, MO at the age of 73.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah “Debbie” (nee Manning) Davis of De Soto, MO; his children: Mike (Angela) Davis, De Soto and Wendi (Ben) Elliott, De Soto; grandchildren, Jesse, Sammy, Summer, Ashley, William and Ben; great grandchildren, Aiden, Sawyer, Waylon, Iris, Scarlett, A.J., Jamieson, Guenther, Tucker and Jason; three sisters: Carolyn (the late Woodrow) Livengood, De Soto, Alice (the late Mike) Webster, De Soto, Kay (Terry) Stewart, Ste. Genevieve; three brothers: George (Terry) Davis, Festus, James (Paula) Davis, De Soto and Paul Davis, De Soto.
John was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Marilyn (Ruel survives) Hooper and Donna (Paul) Stuart and one brother Robert (Carol survives) Davis.
John served in the United States Navy, he was a retired truck driver and was a member of the Community Improvement Association.
As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to any organization that supports military veterans.
