Joan V. Branscum was born on July 1, 1940 in Monette, Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late Edith (nee Hopkins) and Oliver Copeland. She died on August 2, 2023 at Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto at the age of 83.
Her beloved husband, Hershel L. Branscum, preceded her in death on September 4, 2015 at the age of 82. They were married on June 26, 1958 in Blytheville, Arkansas.
She is survived by her loving son, Scott Branscum of De Soto.
Joan was also preceded in death by her infant daughter, Deborah Branscum on March 30, 1967.
