Jessie Mae King of De Soto was born on December 29, 1928 in Toledo, Ohio. She was the daughter of John & Daisy (nee Welch) Toppins. She died on November 21, 2019 at her son’s home in Valley View, TX at the age of 90.
She is survived by her children, Jim (Patty) King of Valley View, TX; Joey King of De Soto, MO; Sandra (Bill) Schulz of Crandall, TX; Kathy (Tom) Bradford of Kansas City, MO; and Betty (Steve) Meyer of Herculaneum, MO; her daughter-in-law, Pam King of De Soto, MO; 17 grandchildren, and 36 great grandchildren.
Jessie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Homer L. King; one son, John King; grandson, Jamie King; great-granddaughter, Miriam Bradford; two brothers, John Toppins and Lindell Toppins; and one sister, Bernice Sullivan.
Jessie was a member of the Parkview Baptist Church in De Soto, MO. Jessie’s grandson, Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Bradford will officiate the service.
