Jean Marie Hoelzel was born on September 1, 1933 in Bonne Terre, MO.  She was the daughter of Ignatius and Arnetta (nee Sewald) Aubuchon.  She died on April 18, 2024 at the Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL at the age of 90.

She is survived by her son, Steven (Debra) Hoelzel, Glen Carbon, IL; and sister-in-law, Sally Aubuchon of Clinton, TN.  Jean was a homemaker and she enjoyed crocheting, crafting, canning and was an excellent cook; she was a member of the Joachim Friendship Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lindell “Pete” Hoelzel; one brother, Donald Aubuchon; and sister, Carolyn (John “Lefty”) Lattay.
