James E. “Bud” Taylor, Jr. was born September 30, 1928 in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of James E. Sr. and Maymie Zita (nee Feltz) Taylor. He died on December 12, 2023 in Herculaneum, MO at the age of 95 years. He is survived by his children, Lanny Ray Dyle, Greenville, MO; Georgina “Cissy” (William) Scanlon, De Soto, MO; and Lisa (Alan) Rickman, Cape Girardeau, MO; grandchildren, David (Carrie) Bowling, Lindsay (Kevin) Donnelly, Jeff Scanlon, and Steven (Hannah) Scanlon, great-grandchildren, Ayden, Dane, Grace, Samuel, and Noah; siblings, Emma Lou (the late Ron) Jordan, Imperial, MO; and Bert (the late Pete) Dekold, Hillsboro, MO. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Olive Ann (nee Bradford) Taylor; one great-grandson, Caleb Scanlon; two brothers, Leon and Paul Taylor; and one sister, Thelma Riessing. James was an equipment operator for the Missouri Department of Transportation.
