Helen Elizabeth Emerson was born on June 16, 1919 in St. Louis a daughter to Robert Teasley and Zelonia Victoria (nee Bess) Christopher. She died on December 18, 2021 at Baisch Nursing Center in De Soto at the age of 102. Helen had no children of her own, but always made time to spend with her family, taking many trips to the Zoo, the Muny, and other St. Louis attractions. She was a wonderful cook and baker. She also enjoyed reading murder mystery novels and shopping. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Estelle Haverstick and Zenobia LaRose and three brothers: Clifford Christopher, Clyde Christopher and Roscoe Christopher. Helen was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, District #6. She had retired as a machine operator for Alumux Aluminum.
