Harry F. Acre was born September 13, 1924 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. He was the son of Harry F. Sr. and Mary (Kirby) Acre. He died on October 7, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Crystal City, MO at the age of 87 years. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine (nee Hunter) Acre of De Soto, MO; one son, Frosty (Annette) Acre, Hillsboro, MO; and one daughter, Valerie (the late Terry) Eades, Scott City, MO; grandchildren, Patrick (Lacie) Eades; David Eades, Amanda (Kyle) Turner; Aaron Eades; Lee (Rebecca) Acre; Adam Acre; and Jordan Acre; Great-Grandchildren, Bennett Eades; and Justin Eades. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Johnny Acre. A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, October 10, 2011 at 7:00 PM with Rev. Dr. Jeremy Muniz officiating. Mr. Acre was a member of the First Baptist Church, De Soto, MO. As an expression of sympathy memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 2000 Grace Way, De Soto, MO 63020.
