Gerald Wayne “Gerry” Gannon was born December 11, 1943 in De Soto, MO. He was the son of Joseph and Dorine Frances (nee Solomon) Gannon. He died on January 7, 2022 in De Soto, MO at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his daughters, Shelley (David) Ungerank, De Soto, MO; Stephanie (Jim) McCullough, De Soto, MO; Stacey (Victor Thebeau, Jr.) Gannon, Hillsboro, MO; grandchildren, Randi (Chris) Dirnberger, Cape Girardeau, MO; Ryan (Cassie) Ungerank, Cape Girardeau, MO; Taylor Carron, Affton, MO; and Victor Lee Thebeau, III, Hillsboro, MO; great-grandchildren, Charlie, Gracie, Beck, and Emma; companion, Cyndy Bradley, De Soto, MO and her children, Brad (Christina) Gravagna, Jeffery Gravagna, Stephanie (T.J.) Drummond, and David (Amy) Gravagna and their families. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Barbara Jane (nee Boyer) Gannon; and one brother, Wendell Eugene “Gene” Gannon. Gerry retired as an insurance agent for Allstate. He was a member of the VFW Post #1831; AmVets Post #48; B.P.O.E. #689; and De Soto Lodge #119 A.F. & A.M.
